This isn’t the card I planned for today, but it was too cute to save for another day.  And it’s perfect for the weather the past few days.

Sarah_BootsIsn’t this adorable?  This (and a few other cards) came in the mail the other day from my upline Sarah Fravel.  Look at the way she colored the “Bootiful Occasions” boot.  Doesn’t it look like light is shining off the rubber?  And she covered it with Crystal Effects – one of my favorite products.

I love Sarah’s style.  She can do fun & funky, clean and simple, or beautiful and elegant with ease.  She’s amazing – and I really miss her classes now that she’s moved to California, Missouri, California, South Dakota.  She’s moved a lot in the past 10+ years!  (Well, a lot compared to me.)  I’m thinking she really misses California – especially in winter.  I had to apologize to her for whining about snow.  I don’t even want to think about what it would be like in South Dakota!  But it seems to be warming up out there – and here too.  We had rain Friday and Saturday, but the past two days have been lovely.  It’s actually almost “balmy” out there.  It’s hard to believe less than two weeks ago we had over a foot of snow.  You have to love Virginia!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!

I love this card, Buffy. Of course the Crystal Effects has something to do with that. I keep seeing wonderful creations with this stamp set and yet have held off buying it. Why? I have no idea.
