I think I’ve finally settled on my “swap” card. I worked on about five last night, but realized they were all going into the “too much time” direction. This one is sweet and simple – and was inspired by a card by demonstrator Claudia Maser.
I stamped the splatter from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar set diagonally across the top layer in Bermuda Bay classic ink. Don’t you love the Stampin’ Up! 2015 Occasions catalog? There are so many products in it that I’m hoping will carry over into the new annual catalog.
The flowers are from Beautiful Bunch – a set from the 2014-15 annual catalog. All of the flowers are stamped with Crushed Curry ink, but the larger one is on Daffodil Delight card stock. It’s punched with the coordinating Fun Flower punch, and I added a bit of 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the center. Finally, I stamped the sentiment from And Many More in Bermuda Bay.
I love doing collage cards and vintage projects with lots of sponging and layers, but this “Clean & Simple” style is growing on me!
Have a wonderful day – and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.
Another winner! The white cardstock layered on more white cardstock is beautiful and I wouldn’t have ever thought to do that.

Oh, yeah! This is lovely – follows my criteria of “simply beautiful”! Wonderful card I would be proud to send with minimal labor involved!

Carol, I love that look! I forget where I saw it first, but it’s really striking, I think.
Susan, this reminds me of one of your cards!
Mom – yeah, I thought about you while I was making it. It’s one you’d enjoy making!
