Indescribable Gift

I had such a productive few days! It snowed (about 11″), so I got to stay home Thursday and Friday. I created three projects for an upcoming hop, planned my April Craft Project Central project, made a care package for some friends, and practiced! Plus – I babysat for a little while today so Wes could pick up a new phone for Stephanie, and I shoveled snow so Mike could get in the driveway tonight. Oh – did I mention Mike was out of town Wednesday through Friday? That may be why my days were so productive. There wasn’t anyone to play with except the cat (Ashlynn), and she got tired of me pretty quickly.

I also created this –
Indescribable Gift, Stampin' Up!

This may be my entry in a swap next week, but I’m not sure.  It’s a CASE from Brian King.  Brian used a blender pen to blend and shading to the flowers – but he kept his images neutral.  I added a bit of Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz to mine (with a blender pen, of course!), and added a few Early Espresso shadows as well.  I love Indescribable Gift, because it reminds me of apple blossoms.

I added a bit of the Sahara Sand lace trim* to the bottom.  If I use this for a swap, the card will open at the top (like a tent) so we won’t have to punch a hole for the lace to be bunched up in at the card fold.  I actually meant for this to open that way, but I already had a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Blushing Bride cut.  I also meant to add some Dazzling Details to the flower centers.  Oops.  I’ll go back and do that tonight.  (*oops.  The Sahara Sand lace trim number has been turned off, because it’s seriously backordered.  Hopefully we’ll catch up soon and you’ll be able to order it, because it’s GORGEOUS!)

So, what are your thoughts?  Swap worthy?

I hope you’re having a wonderful start to your weekend.  Our 11″ of snow is down to…well, I have no idea, because I’ve been locked in my craft room.  But the road is clear, because we had great sunshine today that melted a lot of the white stuff.  I can’t believe Wednesday the previous snow was almost gone, Thursday we had 11″ and today it’s going fast again.  Gotta love Virginia!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!
