We had a fun time at our demonstrator meeting last night. It’s not really a “team” meeting, because we include all demos in the area. And we got to “meet” Linda, one of our demos in NY, through Skype. It was exciting to finally “see” Linda.
We usually have a make & take project, and this time Sandy was the hostess. I love the card she designed. She did a wonderful job of showcasing some of the Occasions and Sale-a-brations products, as well as showing off some of the capabilities of the Blendabilities.
This uses the Butterflies thinlits dies, as well as the Butterfly Basics set from the Occasions catalog. What? You don’t see stamped images? They’re inside, just along a corner to give the inside a little interest. “Hello” is die-cut twice with the Hello You thinlits dies using Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo card stock. And the pretty paper under the die cut butterfly is the Irresistably Yours specialty designer series paper from Sale-a-bration. The rhinestones were colored with Melon Mambo blendabilties. Sadly, the Blendabilities are not available right now, as we are experiencing quality issues. Hopefully everything will be worked out soon, because these are such fun markers!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
Is the DSP under the b’fly done with a punch?? Thanx much – great card!

Hi, Brenda! First we die cut the butterfly from the Whisper White layer. Then we cut a rectangle of Irresistably Yours dsp, sponged with Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Elegant Eggplant. I kind of marked where the butterfly would be, then sponged the dsp so I’d have all three colors showing. The dsp is layered under the Whisper White layer, so it shows through the cut out area. Hope that makes sense. Let me know if it doesn’t!
