It’s another Watercooler Challenge Sunday! This time, it’s a sketch challenge. Here’s the sketch, created by Jackie Susnik.
And here’s my take on it.
I used the Cheerful Critters stamp set. I stamped the image once on Whisper White card stock, then again on the back of a scrap of Birthday Bash specialty designer series paper. I cut it out, then flipped the dsp over so the paper pattern was showing, but not the stamp pattern. The “thanks!” came from Lots of Thanks, although there are several cute sayings in the Cheerful Critters set. There are also a lot of others that would fit on the “sign” in And Many More, as well as other sets.
I used more Birthday Bash paper for the layer over the card base as well as the striped banner. The top banner is a strip of Epic Day washi tape. I placed the tape on a strip of Whisper White card stock so it would show up better. The ribbon was free! It was part of the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack (three spools of ribbon and three colors of buttons) from Sale-a-bration.
To see all the creations, check out the challenge blog here. And then add your card made with the sketch! The “rules” are listed before the challenges, and if your project is picked as the winner, you’ll get to post the “Winner” badge on your blog or web site.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
