Stampin’ Up! Leadership 2015 has been a blast! Since everyone has been talking about the new Compensation Plan changes, that’s what Shelli Gardner started out with yesterday. It was nice to get all the questions out of the way so everyone could just have fun.
After the second General Session, which featured some cute projects from Shelli, we had a quick dinner and then attended the Manager’s Reception. I was so glad Mike got to go with me! We were treated to a performance of the Fantasmic water show, then enjoyed a dessert buffet and exclusive access to a couple rides. Mike & I skipped the rides, but he got a great picture of the guitar outside the Aerosmith Rock & Roller Coaster.
Today was an early start. Another fun General Session, then classes and the Demonstrator Theater. Two of my favorite bloggers – “Frenchie” Martin and Diana Gibbs were two of the presenters, and they were both so fun and entertaining.
Tonight was Stamping Night Out, with four more stamping presentations. I learned so many new tips, laughed a lot, discovered a creative new way to leave the house, thanks to Donna Griffith, and cheered for my BFF Susan who won four – yep, four – sets of Blendabilities! And look who I ran into.
That’s Spencer Willis. He was one of my favorite presenters when I first became a demo. Then, after several years of working somewhere else, he returned to Stampin’ Up! All “long-time” demos are happy to have him back!
I’m super excited about tomorrow, because Jason Wright is the keynote speaker. He’s an amusing speaker (ok, he’s really funny) and talented writer, and I know everyone will enjoy the presentation. Then – more classes and a final General Session.
This is the last Leadership (as we know it), because after the July Convention in Salt Lake City, events will be global! We’ll have two every year, and they’ll alternate between the three major Stampin’ Up! markets (Europe, South Pacific, North America). The next few years will not be boring, I’m sure! (Change is good; change is good; change is good…)
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy! Have a wonderful day.
