Frozen Valentine

My daughter-in-law, Rachel, has a friend whose daughter will be undergoing radiation treatments for cancer. She’s only six years old, and her parents try to do something special to help ease the pain and scariness of the treatment. This time, she only wants Valentines. So – I’m asking all my friends to send her a valentine. Handmade is great, but if you don’t have time to make a card, anything is appreciated. When I read the whole story about Daphne, my heart just broke. She’s such a brave little girl!

Here’s the card I made. I CASEd it from a tutorial by Lyssa Zwolanek, a fellow demonstrator.  Daphne likes Frozen and Legos, and when I saw Lyssa’s tutorial, I realized it was perfect!  I added a few sequins and snowflakes, and there are quite a few retired products on this card (although most are on the Clearance Rack!), but it just needed a lot of sparkle and glitz.

Here’s my rendition of Lyssa’s card.

Frozen_ValentineTake a minute to check out her tutorial.  It’s amazing – and so easy to follow!  If you have little girls in your life, this is perfect for any of them!

If you’d like to send Daphne a card, that would be wonderful!  Please share the information as much as you’d like – tweet it, e-mail, text, send facebook messages…whatever you want.  Send it to –
