World of Dreams

World of Dreams, Stampin' Up!Here’s another card for our club this month.  It’s so simple, yet very elegant, I think.  All you do is scribble on a Clear-Mount Block (I used D) with three different Stampin’ Write Markers.  I started with the lightest at the top to the darkest at the bottom (Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Tangelo Twist), overlapping each slightly.  Spritz with water until the ink runs, then stamp on card stock.  See how easy that is?

When the ink dries, stamp the image from World of Dreams in Jet Black StazOn.  My image is a little muted and blurred, because I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Since it’s water based, it will bleed a bit when wet.  If you like that look, use the Memento Ink.

I stamped the sentiment from the World of Dreams set in Tangelo Twist and added a few individual sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim for a little glitz.  (Tip:  If you add a drop of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card wherever you want a sequin, then place the sequin onto the glue, it’s much easier than putting glue on the sequins and then sticking them to the card stock.)

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!
