Christmas Star Ornament

Gentle Peace, Stampin' Up!, Craft Project CentralFor the “Creating Pretty Cards” challenge this month, Craft Project Central’s challenge is a tag!  I love this idea, and it’s so simple.

For mine, I die cut two circles from the All Is Calm designer series paper and one circle from the Champagne glimmer paper.  I cut a star using the Stars framelits collection from the center of one of the designer paper circles and sandwiched the glimmer paper between the two designer series papers.

For the sentiment, I stamped “For unto us…” from Gentle Peace on vellum cardstock in Island Indigo ink and wrapped it around the ornament/tag.   I sponged white baker’s twine with Gold Metallic Encore ink and tied it through a 1/8″ punched hole.  After seeing the results, linen thread would work just as well!

So, now it’s your turn!  Create a tag (or ornament) using the sketch and tutorial on Craft Project Central, and post the picture on the site.  You could win a free subscription to December!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!
