As we wait for our first “real” snow of the season, I thought I’d make a warm, flower card. The weather forecast is for 3 to 10 inches – so we have no idea what to expect. If you look at the grocery store parking lots, however, you’d think we were heading into a winter hibernation. Holy cow! I still need to shop for Thanksgiving, so I’m hoping there are a few dozen eggs and a gallon or two of milk left.
This will be our technique card in December. It’s so fun. Simply emboss the Wildflower Meadow image with white powder, then color the image with Blendabilities. Easy! The teeny little banner under the sentiment (And Many More) is the other technique – Spritzed Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. Gorgeous!
Funny story about this stamp. Mom went with me to the very last Regional we had in this area. We had a blast – and halfway through the session, she signed up to be a demonstrator. Because she signed up that day, she got a free stamp. She didn’t want a free stamp. She didn’t want any stamps. Mom is a digital girl, so she just wanted MDS downloads. I suggested she get the Wildflower Meadow stamp (since I already had the coordinating embossing folder) and give it to her favorite daughter and upline. (I’m her only daughter, by the way. That’s how I know I’m the fave.) She likes the Blendabilities, so I’m hoping she doesn’t want the stamp back now. You can have the card, though, Mom!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Feel free to bring a shovel tomorrow and come visit!
