Puzzle Piece

Stampin' Up!, Techniques, Puzzle PieceThis is the “Puzzle Piece” technique.  You punch or die-cut pieces from a layer, then color them and add them back in .  I usually heat emboss an image for the background, but this time, I decided to use the Typeset designer series paper.  I used the Feathers Framelits, then sponged Blushing Bride over the die cut feathers.

I didn’t stamp a sentiment, because I wasn’t sure what I wanted the card for.  I did add some Subtles and Neutrals candy dots for a little more dimension, though.

The ribbon is retired Blushing Bride stitched grosgrain, but the new Blushing Bride cotton ribbon would be gorgeous, too.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!
