This is one of the cards from the event in Wilmington last Saturday. I love shoebox swaps, because you spend the afternoon stamping lots of projects, but you only have to design one of them! And I always end up with a lot of cards that use stamp sets I don’t have – so I have a sample to show.
This uses the new single stamp in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog, Christmas Bauble. Sadly, most of the cards didn’t have a designer’s name, so I don’t know who to give credit to for this one. I probably used different colors for the ornament. There was a long line for this card, and everyone seemed to save it for the end. Since I had the Modern Mosaic embossing folder and the Blendabilities, I took the packet home to finish.
I love the silver foil with the sheer linen Cherry Cobbler ribbon. The ornament is hand cut (I know; you’re wondering where the framelit for it is!), but since it was heat embossed with silver powder, it was really easy to cut by hand.
I’ll have lots more cards to show you over the next few days. I had such a blast and came home with some fabulous ideas!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
