Remember this card? It was one of the options for the Card Buffet, and I had a few of the kits left over. I decided to rework it and use the leftovers for my card classes this week.
Although I’m using the same card stock, it’s a totally different look. (Disclaimer: The card base for the original and the cards for class is Mossy Meadow. I ran out, so my “sample” uses Always Artichoke for the card base.)
I spritzed the Whisper White card stock with Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry, stamped the leaves with Mossy Meadow and the flower in StazOn. Both images are from the Choose Happiness stamp set. I added a bit of Color Me Autumn designer washi tape, then colored the flower with an aqua painter and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write marker.
The sentiment – also from Choose Happiness – is stamped in Mossy Meadow on Whisper White card stock. That’s all there is to it! Simple and quick. I love the way the flower looks 3-D, don’t you?
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!
Lovely card – and clever substitutions!
