Doesn’t this make you think of Robert Frost? Or maybe Jack Frost, with all the snow!
I had fun with this one. At our next technique class, we’ll be masking and reverse masking, so that’s what I did for this card. I stamped the landscape from White Christmas on scrap paper as well as the card stock, then cut the snow part off to use as a mask to stamp the sky, as well as to add a little shading to the snow. I also used a 1-3/8″ circle punch to mask the moon – then used the reverse mask to add a few shadows to it.
I wanted glittery snow, so I added some Dazzling Diamonds in the snow drifts. For the falling snow, I used Whisper White craft ink, but it wasn’t dark enough. I quickly added white embossing powder to perk it up a little.
This also makes me think of my nephew, Lee, because he hates the snow. He loves summer – and the beach.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
Wow, this is beautiful. It looks like a painting.

Thanks, Carolyn! I used Daffodil Delight around the moon, then (moving toward the edges) Night of Navy, Smoky Slate and Basic Gray.
