I saw a card on the Stampin’ Up! website the other day, and decided to CASE it. Mine is very like the original, but I did change the colors. I wanted to use Rich Razzleberry and Smoky Slate; I love the way they look together.
It’s hard to tell in the photo, but the colors of the Four Feathers are Old Olive, Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry. I used the Feathers framelits to die-cut the feathers. If you bundle the framelits and stamps together, you can save 15%.
For the background, I stamped images from Work of Art in Rich Razzleberry and Basic Gray, and added a few Old Olive Gorgeous Grunge splatters. The sentiment(s) are from Petite Pairs. I love that set, because you can use half of the paired sentiment on the front and the other half inside. Of course, you can use them both together on the front or inside, like I did.
And now for my latest Amelia pic.
I forget to take pictures when she’s awake, because we’re too busy having our life chats or she’s eating. Yesterday we sang some songs and listened to music on my phone. Her mom had her first day out since “birth day,” so Amelia had “Daddy day.” I think they both enjoyed it, but since I had some things to drop off at their house, Wesley agreed to let me have a little Grandma time while he did a few chores.
Isn’t she precious? And growing so fast. It’s hard to believe she wasn’t even due until tomorrow! The past two weeks have just flown. Of course, I can say that, because when I go home, I can sleep all night. Her parents don’t quite have that luxury yet.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
