Perfect Peacock

Mike & I visited with a dear friend last week, and she had the cutest paperware on the table. I snitched a napkin, because it reminded me of the Perfect Peacock stamp.

Perfect Peacock, Stampin' Up!

I wanted to have the background colors, but wasn’t sure the peacock would show up. I stamped in Stazon on a window sheet, then colored the back with Blendabiliites. (*Note: If you’re coloring window sheets, the Blendabilities are perfect. But you cannot use the Memento Tuxedo Black ink on window sheets, or it will smear. And if you use Blendabilities with Stazon, it will smear. So you have to stamp in Stazon, then color the back.)

It still didn’t “pop” enough for me, so I stamped and colored the peacock again on Whisper White card stock, then cut out the peacock image.  This time, I used Tuxedo Black Memento ink, since I was stamping on card stock.  (This stamping stuff is a science, I tell you!)

I layered the window sheet over the white, then over the All Abloom designer series paper, and I ended up with this.
Perfect Peacock, Stampin' Up!

I think I’ll send it to my friend for a thank you.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!
