Grandma’s Brag Book

My friend Susan always has the most amazing card designs.  She sent me the cutest accordion card for my birthday.  I was going to photograph it, but Susan did a better job – so here’s the link to her blog.

This is the outside of the card.  You have to go to her blog to see the inside – which is even more amazing!  (Click the link above or click on the card.)

Susan's Blog, Stampin' Up!When I opened it and saw the amazing tags – which are part of the card – I thought, “Oh, how cute would this be with Amelia pictures on each tag?”  (Yes, this is a sneaky way to post a craft project and baby pictures.)

I used the Lullaby designer series paper, of course, as well as a couple of the Project Life Little Moments card collection.

Here’s the front –

Project Life, Stampin' Up!, Little Moments

Mine folds just a little differently than Susan’s, because I added a window sheet layer to protect the photos and make pockets for the tags, and that keeps it from closing properly unless you de-accordion the pages.

Here’s the inside – with fab photos from the first five days of Miss Amelia’s life.  I skipped one day, mostly because there were only four tags, but also because all the photos that day had other people in them.

Stampin' Up!, Day to DayHow adorable is this?  It was really simple to put together.  It was probably a lot easier than the card Susan sent me, because I didn’t have to figure out how to add tag toppers to a single sheet of card stock.   Susan sent me a tutorial, and it sounds really easy.  Susan makes everything sound easy – like not smearing ink all over the front of a clean and classic card.  *sigh*

So, cute, right?  The baby and the project.  Especially the baby.  She had her first pediatrician appointment today, and the doctor said she’s perfect.  (Of course she is!)

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!
