Fall Fest Fun

Fall Fest, Stampin' Up!

I love fall.  It really is my favorite season.  The smells, the food (apple cider, apple crisp, gingerbread, chili…), the crisp air – I love it all.

This card uses the stamp set “Fall Fest” from the holiday catalog, which has a coordinating set of framelits – “Fun Fall.”  I added a little strip of Park Lane designer series paper, and embossed the Pumpkin Pie layer with the Woodgrain embossing folder.

This set will be available through January 5, 2015.  Remember, if you host a party ($300 minimum), you can earn the new Good Greetings set FREE, as well as all the “regular” hostess benefits.  Here’s a pic of the set –

Good Greetings, Stampin' Up!Cute, right?  And it works for other occasions besides fall and winter holidays.

So if you don’t want to hear the Grandma Gushing part of this blog, you can stop reading now.  The rest is about Amelia.

My granddaughter is already crafting!  Seriously.  She likes to wake up about 2-3 a.m. to play and talk, and that first night, her parents were so tired.  The nurses offered to take the baby for awhile.  They were going to do the “routine tests” in the nursery.  When the brought her back, they handed Stephee a paper and said, “Oh, we did some crafts, too!”  They had painted her little feet (hmmmm….”little” might not be the right word here.  That child does have long feet and fingers!) in pastel rainbow colors and made a butterfly.  It’s totally adorable, and one of these days I’ll drag my eyes off the baby long enough to get a picture to post.  She’s amazing.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!

Gee, I will have to post a Myla in the pumpkin patch photo for you. She was dressed as a pumpkin and oh so cute. Of course, she slept through it all.

Congratulations, Buffy, on your granddaughter! I haven’t been following blogs lately, so I hadn’t heard about Amelia’s impending arrival. I’m so happy for you and your family. I wish you all many blessings.
