Sketch Challenge!

Here’s my card for the Craft Project Central Creating Pretty Cards sketch challenge this month.
sketchchallengeHere’s the original sketch.

Craft Project Central, Stampin' Up!

As you can see, I flipped the sketch, because I wanted to use the new Beauty of the Season stamp set and the cardinal image was a little large to fit the original sketch.

I colored the cardinal with Blendabilities, and added some Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon and Regals designer series paper.  For a little extra embellishment, I stamped the “Merry Christmas” from Petite Pairs on one of the wooden elements embellishments.

We’re making a similar, but smaller, version of this card at this month’s card class.  It’s never too early to start on Christmas cards, right?

If you have a few minutes, play along with the sketch challenge this month.  Simply create a card, then link it to the challenge.  It’s super easy, and you could win a free subscription to Craft Project Central!  Check it out, then play along.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!  Have a wonderful day – and remember – only 18 more Fridays until Christmas!
