Feathered Thanks

Stampin' Up!, Four Feathers When my cousins started marrying (not each other; we’re not that far south.  HA!) and having babies, one of the shower “games” was to have each guest fill out an envelope with his/her name and address.  That way, the bride or expectant mom could just write a thank you not and not have to look up addresses.  Then we would draw one of the envelopes for a prize, just so everyone would play along.

This is one of the designs I made for Stephee’s baby shower.  I bought the “Four Feathers” stamp set and matching Feathers framelits from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog just for Steph.  You can order these on August 28, beginning at noon MT!  I also used the Lots of Thanks set with the Bitty Banners framelits and the arrows embossing folder.  I also added a So Saffron candy dot to hold the feathers together.

The Big Shot and stamp/framelit bundles make cards a snap to make – and, boy, did I need that today!  It was technically my day off, but I forgot to tell Mike!  Thankfully, I still have tomorrow to get ready for the shower Sunday afternoon.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!
