Park Lane & Blendabilities

Since I knew I’d be using the Lullaby designer series paper for Stephee’s baby shower, and #StampinUp had a wonderful designer series paper promotion last month, I couldn’t resist ordering a couple more packs of paper so I could get a free one.  What can I say?  I’m a sucker for a sale when it comes to craft items.

One of the designer series paper packs I bought was Park Lane.

ParkLane One of the designs in the paper pack is an outline of flowers, and I decided to see what it would look like if I used some Blendabilities on it.  WOW!  Chris and I had so much fun coloring on Thursday.  The final image looked nothing like the original (4th paper from the left in the photo).

I finally had time to use the paper on a card yesterday, but it was so pretty, I didn’t want to cover any of it up.  I decided just to stamp a sentiment from Yippee Skippee and die cut it with Chalk Talk framelits.  (Remember, these are 15% off when you buy them in a bundle with the Day of Celebration stamp set – or free when you buy a Big Shot!)

#ParkLane, #StampinUp, #BigShot

How pretty is that?  I added a bit of the new Venetian Crochet Trim to the tag and Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the center of the largest flower.  I love the way it turned out, and can’t wait to color a few more pieces!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!
