My dearest husband is a local real estate broker, and whenever his clients close on a new house, he gives them gift cards. Sometimes it’s a card for a home improvement store or a card to a local restaurant. If it’s someone with children, he’ll give cards to pizza places with play areas, or toy stores. But he always puts the card in a greeting card, and, more often than not, I make the greeting card. The only times I don’t are when he forgets to tell me about a closing, and then he (*gasp*) buys a card. (And then he buys me flowers, but that’s another story.)
To keep him from having to buy cards, I decided to make a bunch to have on hand for him. Here’s one of my creations. It uses the Life’s Adventure hostess set, with the Flashback designer series paper. I used Blendabilities to color the houses, and – wow! – am I ever loving the new colors! You can order the first six sets now, and you can purchase the other six beginning in August.
If this card looks familiar to you, it’s because I used leftovers from last week’s card class. I had one no-show, so I’m recycling those leftovers! This was the card used for the Craft Project Central sketch challenge.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy! Have a wonderful day!
Such a darling card Buffy. I love the layout and how all of the pieces relate.
