This is a CASE of a card made by my friend Heidi Weaver. I love how Stampin’ Up! stamps work together, and this card is a perfect example. The sun is from the Kinda Eclectic set, the “road” is from Work of Art, and the wagon full of flowers is from For the Birds. Fun, right?
This is one of the cards we made for our stamp club last month. I used Blendabilities on the wagon, but for club we used Stampin’ Write Markers. We also added some “clouds” using one of the stamps from Work of Art. I think everyone enjoyed making this, and seeing how versatile some of our stamp sets are.
Don’t forget to order your designer series paper this month (buy three, get one free!), as well as the Beauty of the Season stamp set. It’s a gorgeous set (particularly for Virginians and other states with the cardinal as their state bird!), and you can get a jump start on your Christmas cards.
Clear Mount – 135779, $16.95
Wood Mount – 135776, $21.95
Be sure to take a peek at this week’s Weekly Deals in my Stampin’ Up! store.
Next month’s promotion is for the Big Shot, so don’t miss that! I’ll have more details in August.
And finally – be sure to check out the sketch challenge at Craft Project Central. Link your interpretation of the sketch to the challenge post, and you could win a free subscription to CPC. For another opportunity to win a subscription, leave a comment on my project this month. (Be sure the comment is on the CPC page, although you’re more than welcome to leave a comment here as well.)
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy! Have a beautiful day!
I have to say that I’m flattered that you CASEd my card, Buffy. I love the way it looks with the For the Birds stamp. I’ll have to remember that and, perhaps, re-CASE the card. Seriously, though, I do love the card.
