I’ve been having a blast making paper flowers. They look almost real and they don’t die or leave dead petals and dusty stuff all over the table. And there’s no water to get all gross and green after a couple of days if you don’t change it.
I had a bunch on my table and there were three Blackberry Bliss roses in it that I made with the spiral flower die for the Big Shot. Mom loved the roses, so I decided to make her an arrangement.
I love the “fringe flowers.” I got the instructions from my friend Kath Ricks, and they’re fairly easy to make with the new Stampin’ Up! Fringe Scissors. I need to add a little greenery, but I think Mom will like them. (Let’s be real. She’s my mom. If they were horrible, she’d love them. Or, at least, she’d pretend to.)
If you missed my Paper Pumpkin craft party – well, you missed a good time. Seriously, it was so much fun! Some of the ladies brought extra refreshments, and none of us wanted to leave. (Thanks, Jennie & Chris!!) We’ll be doing it again, though, and it will be even better. So stay tuned for more information!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
Oh, I can’t wait to put those on my table!! They are lovely. I need to learn to make the fringe flowers!
