Independence Day, Stampin' Up!, And Many More

I meant to post this yesterday, but I’m thankful for my country and am grateful to the men and women who protect it every day. So I think it’s appropriate to post this card any day of the year.

I have seen lots of red, white and blue banners the past week or so, so I decided to make a card using the Tea Lace paper doilies, circles collection framelits and the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack.   I used And Many More for the greeting, with more punches (word window, modern label, scallop oval), but it still needed a little something.  So I added 13 stars punched from Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper.  I like all our glimmer paper, but the Dazzling Diamonds is so lovely.  It adds glitter without mess, and it’s very subtle.

Hope your Independence Day weekend is a happy and fun one.  To all my friends in the USA – please take a minute to be thankful for our country and our many blessings and freedoms.  (Well, that’s appropriate for whatever country you’re from, right?)  And to all our men and women in the military and their families – a huge, heartfelt thank you.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!
