I used a little of everything on this card – some new, some retiring and some current and staying.
The new products are the colors. I used Coastal Cabana and Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities on the Petite Petals and Flower Shop flowers (bundle the stamps with coordinating punches and save 15%). These are so fun – and so easy to use. You’ll be able to order them in June – and you’ll definitely want to put them on your wish list. Look how vibrant those colors are! And you can use them to color rhinestones and pearls. I used the Daffodil Delight set for the flower centers and rhinestones on the smaller flowers. For the larger flowers, I used dots of Dazzling Details to add a little sparkle.
The top layer of the card is Pool Party card stock – and it will be around for at least another year. I love that color! And it layers really well with Lost Lagoon, one of the five new In Colors. That’s the color of the “happy birthday” as well as the card base.
I used another new In Color, Mossy Meadow, for the leaves. I die-cut the leaves with the retiring Little Leaves sizzlit. I use that all the time, and I was really sad to see it on the retiring list. But there’s a new Bigz die that will be available in June that will die cut multiple leaves and flowers at the same time – and the leaf is very pretty. So I’m happy now. (It takes so little to cheer me up – new stamps, new dies, new ink…)
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy! Have a beautiful, crafty day.
