Birthday Slider Card

Birthday Slider Card

Slider Card, Stampin' Up!, Techniques

For the First Time in Forever, I made a birthday card early!  (One of the theatre majors I accompany is singing that song this semester, and she’s doing a great job!)  Sadly, though, I had my Wesley in mind for this, since his birthday is next month.  And I didn’t think about the pink card until I was finished.  Hmmm…he’s pretty secure, but I don’t think he’d enjoy a Strawberry Slush card as much as, say, Basic Black or Basic Gray.   And that would give me another chance to use my chalk marker, so I’ll probably change the card base later.

The slider card was a technique on splicoaststampers dot com this week. It was so easy.  I think this may be a card we make at club this month.  I used You’re Amazing and Bring on the Cake, and the awesome Kaleidoscope designer series paper.  I wasn’t going to buy this particular designer series paper, but then I got my Leadership make & take supplies, and that was the paper used.  So cute!  It was on the next order I submitted.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!

This card is adorable! By the way, my birthday is in August so you need to start designing my card(s). I learned a new trick from my BFF (you). I want a card every month for six months before my birthday and six months after. I received one last month so you are on a roll! IFLY
