Card Making Day

Hip Hip Hooray, Stampin' Up!, Cardmaking KitsIt wasn’t World Card Making Day – or even National Card Making Day.  But in our little corner of Virginia, we made a ton of cards today.  Ok, maybe not quite a ton.

Several of my friends and I got together and worked on making all occasion cards using two of the Stampin’ Up! cardmaking kits.  These are from the Hip Hip Hooray kit.  The kit makes 20 cards, and stamps, ink, adhesive and embellishments are included.  All you need is a pair of scissors to do a tiny bit of cutting.  Mom & I made about 56 cards today – in 2 hours!  Gotta love those kits, right?  We didn’t get super creative.  For the most part, we followed the examples in the kits, because we had to get a lot of cards made fast.

It was so much fun!  We even had one brand new stamper joining us, and she did a fabulous job!  We were copying her designs.

Tomorrow is my craft day, and I’m planning to use the Everyday Occasions kit to create a few more cards.  I always need to have a card on hand for something, so it’s nice to have some stockpiled.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!  Remember, there are only a few more days of Sale-a-bration.   Don’t miss out on those SAB rewards!
