Stippled Thanks

Stippled Blossoms, Stampin' Up!, Watercolor WonderI’m happy to announce that Walter is no longer avoiding me after the attempted tooth brushing episode yesterday.  He sat under the piano and glared at me most of the evening, but we seem to be friends again.  Probably because no one else is here.  As soon as Mike walks in the door, I’ll be yesterday’s news again.

Steph saw one of the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog Watercolor Wonder designer note cards I had used last week, and she wondered if we could stamp something similar to the image printed on the cards.  Challenge accepted!  I cut another card in half, spritzed it with water, and then stamped the solid parts of the flowers from Stippled Blossoms in Cantaloupe Crisp ink.  After they dried, I stamped the outlines in Calypso Coral, then stamped the Petite Pairs sentiment in Basic Gray.  Except for the area that was a little too wet, I think it turned out very nicely.  It has a nice, soft watercolored look.

This will be another online order thank you card.  And you can receive a card from me, too!  Just place your order in my store before the end of March.  Be sure to redeem any Sale-a-bration and hostess rewards before you check out.  You only have until March 31 to earn Sale-a-bration freebies, so don’t miss out.  And if you are interested in subscribing to My Paper Pumpkin, you can receive a free pack of 2012-2014 In Color markers as well as the free clear block that comes with the welcome kit.  That’s over $20 is free gifts – more than the cost of the kit plus shipping!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!
