She Believed in Watercolor Wonder

Stampin' Up, Occasions Catalog, Feel Goods, Watercolor Wonder designer note cardsMike had a bad day Friday, so I decided to make him a quick card before he came home.  (This isn’t it, by the way!)  I decided to take one of the Watercolor Wonder note cards, cut it in half and create two cards from one.  I used the Just Sayin’ bundle on Mike’s card.  Since I always say, “I need that back for the blog,” after I give him a card, I decided not to blog his.  So his card was just for him.

All I did for this one was layer the note card front to Smoky Slate and Crisp Cantaloupe card stock, then stamp the Feel Goods sentiment, using markers to ink it.  Easy!!  Had I pulled out my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig, it would have been even better, but, sadly, I was impatient.  So, of course, it’s a little crooked, but that adds to the charm right?  Hmmmm.  Maybe not.

Hope you have a beautiful day.  Mother Nature decided to dump more snow on us yesterday afternoon and last night.  Seriously, what’s up with that?  At least it’s not sticking to the roads much since it’s been so warm the past few days.  Hopefully it will melt quickly and spring will be here to stay.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.

  1. I was kind of worried that you thought this card would cheer Mike up on a bad day. It was kind of you to let him have a card all his own -and I love the card you did blog and it would cheer me up any day.
