Blessed Easter

Blessed Easter, Stampin' Up!, Occasions CatalogLast month, I had the opportunity to make greeting cards with some ladies in a local assisted living facility.  It was so much fun, and I had a blast getting to know these women.  They had so many lovely stories to tell about their lives.  One told my mom a beautiful story about how she met her husband.  Maybe one day Mom will “guest blog” and share.

This month, they’ll be covering a simple notepad to make it an elegant piece of art, a card from the “Hip, Hip, Hooray” kit, and this Easter card.

I stamped the “Blessed Easter” stamp from the Occasions catalog on card stock.  (Note:  I used retired textured card stock for this, so it will look a little different on Whisper White.  You could use one of our Canvas Creations sheets to get a similar look.)  Then I simply colored the flowers with markers, layered them to Wisteria Wonder and Soft Sky card stock (stamped with the flourish from Everything Eleanor).

I love this stamp, because the sentiment and image are all together.  One stamp and you’re ready to go.  It’s very quick and simple, but I think it’s elegant, too.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a beautiful day!
