I got an exciting surprise in the mail yesterday. I registered for the Stampin’ Up! Leadership conference, but I wasn’t able to attend. Yesterday, I got the attendee bag filled with goodies! There was the pin, the pen, stamp sets and Make & Take packets, plus my t-shirt and another stamp set from the Managers’ Reception! I always say I don’t like surprises, but surprises with rubber stamps in them? Not a problem!
This is one of the Make & Takes. It uses the Kaleidoscope designer series paper from the Occasions Catalog and the Vivid Vases stamp. The catalogs never do the designer papers justice; they’re always so much prettier in person than they are in the little catalog peek.
I stamped the vases in Jet Black StazOn on watercolor paper, then watercolored them with classic stampin’ pads and an aqua painter. The colors I used (card stock and ink) are Strawberry Slush, Bermuda Bay, Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight. Don’t you love those little metal buttons?
Thanks, Stampin’ Up!, for sending this!! It was very nice. I really didn’t expect it at all! And now I have to order some Kaleidoscope designer paper.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
