I was playing around with a couple stamping techniques tonight. The first is the flower panel on the card using the Happy Watercolor set from the Occasions catalog. I washed Pistachio Pudding, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay ink refills on an acrylic block, then stamped on watercolor paper. When it dried, I stamped the flowers and sentiment in Jet Black Stazon ink.
The background layer was a leftover from a workshop several months ago. I stamped and clear embossed En Franҫais on the panel, then scraped white acrylic paint across it. It was a little too white, so I sponged some Pistachio Pudding, Calypso Coral and Soft Sued over it to give it a little more color. It’s funny, because I used this techique with white paint because the Calypso Coral card stock was too dark. Go figure!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
very nice Buffy
