This has been a crazy 24 hours. Yesterday started with me updating my blog. Right at the end, Windows took over my computer (with no warning, I might add) so it could perform updates. That was bad enough, but then, when I finally got my computer back, it was wiped clean. No pictures, no documents, no added programs. Nothing. It looked like it did when I brought it home from the store. I muttered something under my breath (it was “G-rated,” I promise!) and decided to walk away for awhile. Mike, my dear, loving, brilliant husband, asked, “What’s wrong?” When I explained, he was more upset than I was. Most of what I use a lot is stored elsewhere; it was just going to be more work and aggravation to get it all back. While I was in the shower, he did a “system restore,” and everything was back when it finished restoring. Is he just the best? (Sorry, though – he’s taken, and I’m not letting him go! And not just for his computer skills.)
Meanwhile, I’m working on a project for February for Craft Project Central, projects for a blog hop in a couple weeks, projects for club next week – and I’m moving my craft room. I haven’t decided where yet, but I’m moving. I love my current area, but since I have a whole basement now, I’m going to spread out. I started working on the space I had thought about using, but I don’t think it’s going to be big enough. At any rate, it’s going to take some time. So on top of all that, as well as life stuff (new students to accompany, a state-wide meeting I’m presiding over, taxes – ugh), everything I’ve created lately is being hoarded for the hop and design project.
So in the meantime…Valentine’s Day is coming quickly! If you send valentines to any of your loved ones, or if your children need some valentines for school friends, Stampin’ Up! is here to help. We have “A Whole Lot of Love” that you can purchase and whip up some adorable projects in a flash.
