CPC31, Craft Project Central, Stampin' up!I had to post just one more card for the Creating Pretty Cards sketch challenge.  After I posted the sketch and my card (here), I thought, “Wouldn’t it be cute to have a little owl in a tree…” and it kind of evolved from there.  I had intended to use the Woodgrain embossing folder, but then I saw the sadly neglected Natural Composition Specialty paper and decided to use that instead. I also used the owl builder punch, the Little Leaves sizzlit, Framed Tulips embossing folder, and Bitty Banners and Window Frames collection framelits (these are one of the “Weekly Specials this week).  This really is a “Big Shot” card!  The “pssst” stamp is from the Happy Watercolor set in the Stampin’ Up!® Occasions catalog (available Jan 3, 2014).

You can find the guidelines for the challenge and a mini tutorial here.  Head over to CPC and play along!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a beautiful day!
