Happy Thanksgiving!

anniversary13What a beautiful day this is!  And I have so much to be thankful for.  First would be my family, of course  – husband, kids, parents and siblings, and all my aunts, uncles and cousins (including the in-law ones!).  I have the most amazing family, and I’m grateful for each and every family member.  And, as always, I’m grateful for friends, for health, for these crazy dogs we inherited…there’s really too much to list.

This isn’t a Thanksgiving card, but I haven’t had craft room time lately.  This is the anniversary card Mom & Dad gave Mike & me yesterday.  (It was our 31st wedding anniversary.)  Isn’t it gorgeous?  Mom used the Artisan Embellishments kit from last year’s Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog.  I love that lace and the paper flowers.  Sadly, the kit is retired – but a lot of the pieces are still available (the doilies and buttons).  Ok, that’s not really a lot.  But there are similar products still around.  It’s easy to make tickets with the ticket duo builder punch, and flowers are a snap with little punches.  I do miss that lace trim, though.  I may try to create something similar to this with current Stampin’ Up! products.  But not today.  Today Mike & I are leaving for a Thanksgiving/anniversary trip and won’t be back until Sunday.

Speaking of Sunday and December 1 – I designed another project for Craft Project Central, and it will be on the web site December 7.  Please be sure to check it out.  If you comment on my project on the CPC site, you may be selected to receive a subscription to tutorials for all of December’s projects!  That’s a huge value – and the instructions are very easy to follow.  I’ll be posting all the projects this month, as well as links to CPC and the blogs of the other project creators, so be sure to check often!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!
