A Little Sparkle

Glitter, Christmas, Stampin' Up! Holiday catalogThis is the last glitter vase I’ll make.  Maybe.  It’s so easy and fun, but I really need to stop.

I bought this vase at the dollar store, painted it with white glue and sprinkled it with Silver Glass Glitter.  There were a few extra spots that weren’t glittered, so I poured on a little silver glitter.  It’s very sparkly!

To dress it up a bit, I added a Festive Flurry Snowflake.  The center is silver glimmer paper punched with the Boho Blossoms punch.  It fits perfectly!  (Thanks, Chris Nelson!)  I knotted some Island Indigo baker’s twine ( on sale through Nov. 5!) through the snowflake, then tied it to a little silver ribbon.

You can’t see well in the photo, but the snowflake is also glittered (2-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter), and I put a little electric votive in the bottom of the vase.  It looks very festive!

Just a reminder – this is one of the techniques for the technique class this week.  It’s so much fun, and you can let your imagination run wild!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy, and have a wonderful day!
