Freaky Pumpkin Luminary

Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, HalloweenHere’s a sneak peek of one of the Technique Class projects for November.  We’ll be decorating bottles with glitter.  For class, it will be random glitter patterns, but I decided to try a “Jack o’ Jar.”  I cut out some triangles and a “pumpkin mouth,” then painted glue over the bottle.  I stuck the face pieces on the bottle, then sprinkled orange glitter all over the bottle.  After removing the pieces, I sprinkled black glitter over the eyes, nose and mouth areas.

I kind of like the “freaky” look – and it looks amazing with a little electric candle in it.  Five or six on the wall by the driveway and on the porch would look really cool.  I think I’m going to try some for Christmas – maybe with snowmen (that was Stephee’s idea).

Have a great day – and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.
