Pop ‘N Cuts

Pop 'n Cuts, Stampin' Up!, Big ShotWhen I first saw the magnetic platform for the Big Shot in the annual Stampin’ Up! catalog, I though, “Meh.  I can just use post-it notes.”  So I didn’t get it.  And then I ran out of post-its.

I had some free product due me for a project I did, so I ordered a magnetic platform.  All I have to say is, “Why did I wait so long?”  It’s amazing! I love it.

I saw a card my friend Sandy made, and it was just gorgeous.  Mom sent me a photo of the sunset Monday night, so I combined the two.  Most of this idea is Sandy’s – with Mom’s sunset thrown in.  I love the Wetlands stamp set, don’t you?

I decided to make this a pop-up card with the pop ‘n cuts card base and label insert.  So easy and fun!  Here’s the inside, with the pop up.  pop 'n cuts, Stampin' Up!, buffy Cooper I used the deco labels framelits with the magnetic platform for the “Birthday” layer.

This was so quick and fun.  We’re going to make a similar card for club, so you don’t want to miss it.  If you’re not a member, or if you don’t live near Winchester, VA, you can still get the supplies from the club meeting by either paying a $15 class fee or entering a $25 minimum order using the workshop code for October (HPNUPXGC)*.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!

When was the last time you bought Post-it Notes? They have gotten very pricey! The Magnetic Platform is the best! Love your card too!
