The Tag a Bag gift bags are really fun – and you can order the Tag a Bag accessory kit for them – with tags, baker’s twine, mini clothespins, self-adhesive strips and dimensionals. (Bundle them and save!) They’re great for small, flatter items – like cookies, card sets, small books. I decided to turn mine into little gift bags using the “bag-a-lope” technique.
All you do is score the sides and bottom of the bag (I scored 1″ from the bottom and 3/4″ from each side), then fold the sides out and the bottom up. I also trimmed a little off the top with the Stampin’ Trimmer rotary addition and small scallop cutting blade.
Instead of using the accessory kit for the tag, I used the Chalk Talk framelits, crochet trim and linen thread with the flower stamp from the “Best of Shelli” set. After pouring in some Pumpkin Spice kisses, I sealed the bag with washi tape. This made such an economical and cute package for the candy, I think.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a terrific day!
