Live the Life

Sunburst, Stampin' Up!, You're AmazingI’ve been seeing the “sunburst” technique a lot lately, so I decided to give it a try.  My friend Susan Horr designed a card that was so cute; I think that’s what pushed me over.

For this, I used the Epic Day designer series paper.  I cut 6 strips of designer series paper 1-1/2″ x 6″, then cut each piece from the top left corner to the bottom right.  (So, basically, you end up with 12 triangles.)  Then you just layer the paper and trim off the excess.  Done.

I love the embedded embossing technique, so I ran my paper through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder after it was all glued down.  The balloon is from the “You’re Amazing” set, and the sentiment is one of the Really Good Greetings.  The Island Indigo frame under the balloon is one of the Window Frame collection framelits.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!
