Postal Surprise

Storybook Friends, Stampin' up!, Washi tapeI have all the card stock and ribbon cut for Saturday’s class – and it’s only Thursday!  I’m so proud of myself.  I’m waiting for tomorrow’s order which has some buttons we’ll be using, and then I’ll be ready to go.

This is the last card.  We have a vintage, a “man card,” a Thanksgiving card (or all-occasion), a flower card, a Christmas card, and this one – which is kind of a “kid’s card.”  I got this idea from Andrea Borries on splitcoaststampers.  Mine’s a little different – different colors, embellishements – but I loved her postage stamp idea.  It works great with these little critters.

This is my “take it easy” card.  It’s still cute, but a little less work than some we’ll be doing Saturday.  I used the 1″ square and postage stamp punches for the Storybook Friends images, and the word window and modern label punches for the sentiment.  The top piece of “washi tape” is really Crushed Curry designer series paper.  The bottom strip is Washi tape, though.

I’m excited about the class.  I think everyone will really enjoy it.  I think I have lots of hugs and kisses so they can keep their energy up!  (Chocolate hugs and kisses, that is.)  Unless someone at the office has been hitting on them, of course.  But that would be…me.  Hershey’s is my downfall.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!
