Grassy Wetlands

Wetlands, Stampin' Up!, Natural CompositionThis is another card inspired by Shelli Gardner at the Stampin’ Up! convention.  Hers was a pop-up using another stamp set, but I loved the grass idea!

For this card, I used the Wetlands stamp set.  I die cut the image and mat with the Window Frames .framelits, then added “grass” behind it.  The grass is just strips of Natural Composition specialty paper that I curled a little.  Cute, right?  The grass was a little long at first, and it looked a bit like Don King.  Rachel suggested I mow it and then “re-curl.”  I like it a lot better.  Other supplies – Naturals designer buttons, Linen Thread, 7/16″ Natural trim.

I have a shortage of “man cards,” so this will definitely come in handy when I’m searching for a card for a guy’s birthday!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!

I might have to….CASE… this if it’s okay? Didn’t want to use that “word” but I know I’ll CASE it anyway. Hugs.
