Joyful Christmas

Joyful Christmas, Stampin' Up! Holiday CatalogIsn’t this one of the most gorgeous cards you’ve ever seen?  I can say that, because I didn’t make it.  This was a swap from my dear friend Christine Giuda.   She used the Joyful Christmas set from the Holiday catalog (available August 1).  Also from the Holiday catalog are the Frosted Finishes embellishments and the Winter Frost Specialty designer series paper.  The embossing folder she used (right panel) is the Pretty Print textured impressions embossing folder.  It’s in the holiday catalog, but it’s a folder you can use all year.

For those of you who have been around awhile, Encore Gold and Silver stamp pads are also in the Holiday catalog!  I love stamping in metallics (and, boy, do I miss Copper).  Christine sponged a bit of the silver over the embossed area.

The poinsettia and the sentiment are stamped on vellum card stock, embossed with Pewter powder and colored on the back.  The “Joyful Christmas Wishes” was die cut with the Apothecary Accents framelits.

I can’t wait to use this set.  I love the way it looks on the embossed vellum, don’t you?  Thanks, Christine!!
We had our team meeting today, and Mom led everyone as we created a card with My Digital Studio.  She had some printed out, then we turned it into a hybrid with some lace or washi tape (our choice) and extra accents.  It was so pretty.  Yay, Mom!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy, and have a wonderful day.
