I have the best friends. Several of us brought “pillow gifts” for friends at the 2013 Stampin’ Up! Convention. I got a gorgeous notebook covered in the music score sheet from Modern Medley and a matching pen from Susan Horr, an adorable baker’s twine holder from one of our embellishment boxes and a bag of candy – also from Susan, a new sock monkey from Darrah Hopper, a beautiful bag tag with more Modern Medley (my fave) from Christine Guida. Christine made everyone a tag to match their personalities and “likes.” Mary Fife gave everyone a gorgeous handmade bracelet in a coordinating box, and Sandy Moriarty gave me a decorated bag of cookies. It looked a lot cuter before I ripped it open and ate the cookies. Patti Leeke gave everyone a Tennessee orange pen. Two things that didn’t make the picture because they got lost in my bag were the decorated pen from Kathe Deck and cookie stamp from Darrah. The cookie stamps can be used with our new Simply Pressed clay! (Just don’t use them for food after you use them on crafts.)

My gift to everyone was a silver pin to either wear or hook on a bag. It’s made from silver glimmer paper, Smoky Slate card stock, soda cans, the Fun Flowers die and Big Shot and a few accessories I picked up from a craft store.

There were several new product announcements today – a couple new thinlits die sets, new- and larger – card kits, an envelope punch, and a “create your own stamp” kit. Lots of fun, and more tomorrow. Check in tomorrow to see all the freebies we’ve gotten.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!

I had more people taking pictures of that beautiful silver pin you made everyone! I had it on my lanyard and a couple of people startled me when they pointed their cameras to my chest until I realized they were taking a picture of your flower. It was awesome!

Sweet! I’m glad they turned out ok. I asked both girls, Mom and several other people if they were ok and not “tacky.” But I wanted something silver and shiny for the 25th. I have to add some more pictures. Kathe’s beautiful note pad that goes with the pen was under some stuff, so it didn’t make the picture.
