Day 1 of the 2013 Stampin’ Up! Convention was a blast. Sandy, Susan and I toured the home office. And by toured, I mean we walked through a few areas. It’s very crowded this year, and the lines for everything are very long. But it is our 25th Anniversary.
We did manage to get our pictures taken at the Stampin’ Up! rock, though. The picture of the three of us is at the end of the post. We’re laughing, because right before our turn, the sprinklers turned on, so we were in a shower. It felt kind of nice, though.
The opening session was fun. We got our convention bags and a stamp set from the Holiday catalog. And I won the first prize patrol!! I got Chalk Talk framelits and the Tag a Bag gift boxes.
After the general session there was an opening social. It was super crowded, but we were able to help with the service project and mail a card to help break a world record.
Now – it’s time to recharge for tomorrow. So thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy, and have a wonderful day.
