I love the vintage look of the new Stampin’ Up! Soho Subway designer series paper. I added some splatters from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (love it!!) in Baked Brown Sugar and Crisp Cantaloupe. It’s my favorite new set, I think. I used it on every card I made over the weekend – all four Father’s Day cards and a graduation card.
The tea lace paper doily – carried over from the spring catalog into the annual catalog – is sponged with more Baked Brown Sugar ink and folded. For a final touch, I added a flower created from several 1-3/4″ scallop circles with a pearl basic jewel in the center. To give the flowers a little more texture, I separated the paper layers after I punched the scallops from Crushed Curry card stock.
The sentiment is half of a saying from the Happy Day set, stamped on Crisp Cantaloupe. The stamp says, “Hello There” (which reminds me of “Lisa Douglas” on the old TV show Green Acres), but I cut “there” off and made a tag.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!
