Quick & Easy Birthday

Flower Shop, Stampin' Up, TechniquesI had a card once (long ago) that said, “If it’s true you are what you eat, then I’m fast, cheap and easy.”  For me, everything has to be quick and easy – and inexpensive isn’t bad either!  This card is really fast and easy – and buying the parts in a bundle makes it less expensive also.

I used the Stampin’ Up! set “Flower Shop” for this card.  First, I used a “Magazine Smoosh” technique on Naturals White card stock (technique for July’s class!), then stamped the flower using Island Indigo classic ink.  Cutting the flowers was a snap with the coordinating Pansy punch – and I bought the stamps and punch together in the bundle to save some money.  The birthday stamp is from Sassy Salutations (black ink on Bermuda Bay card stock), and I added a little Dazzling Details to the centers of the flowers for some glitz.  The card base is Tangerine Tango (again with that great Turquoise/Orange combo!).

The rain has stopped for a bit, so I’m going to dash now that I won’t get drenched.  It was really thrashing for a few minutes – but maybe it brought the temps down a little.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!
