Tea Party Romance

Tea Party, Lovely Romance, Stampin' Up!Here’s another card I made yesterday with the Tea Party stamp set.  I embossed the tea pot with pewter powder.   Then I inked the flower portion of the stamp with markers, stamped them on scrap paper, cut them out and added them over the teapot.  The stamp at the bottom is from the Lovely Romance set.  I used Chalk Talk and the new Deco Labels framelits.  The card base is the new Smoky Slate, and I embossed a layer of Crisp Cantaloupe with the Modern Mosaic folder for the top layer.  Crisp Cantaloupe is a new In Color, and it looks great with Calypso Coral and Smoke Slate.

I’m going to take some aspirin and head to bed.  It rained really hard last night and this morning.  When I got out of the car, my slick shoe hit wet running board and I landed in the parking lot.  Blech.  Fortunately, I’m just a little sore, but I think this will be an early night!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful (and fall-free!!) day.

Thank you all for your sweet comments! I’m sore – but it’s not too much worse than the day after going to the gym for the first time. Apparently, though, I must have used my arm to help catch myself (that didn’t work!), so my left wrist is really sore. And that’s my stamping hand! NOOOOOOOO! Should be much better in a day or so, though. (And it’s not going to stop me from stamping. I borrowed the “Tape It” set from my friend Liz, and I have to play!!)
