This is one of the new sets in the 2013 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. It’s called Perfect Blend, and I knew as soon as I saw the catalog online that it would be the first set on my wish list. I stamped the image with Jet Black StazOn, then watercolored with an aqua painter and Smoky Slate, Baked Brown Sugar and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Markers.
My Jonny has started drinking coffee, and he’s been buying it from Camano Island Coffee Roasters, so I cut out the logo from one of the fliers in his latest shipment and added it to the cup. And don’t you love the new designer series paper stacks? There are new patterns this year that are so trendy and fresh. I used Bermuda Bay on this card, because it coordinated with the Camano Island logo and looked great with Soft Suede and Baked Brown Sugar.
Thanks to everyone who came to the open house yesterday! It was a huge success. I was able to find new homes for a lot of my retired stamps and accessories, and made enough money to cover my next order (ribbon and other embellishments). It was so much fun, and I got lots of comments about how great the room looked. (Thanks, Stephee!)
Have a wonderful day – and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.
